Diagnosis.

System is leaking from (2) points, first leak is coming from a 45’ pvc fitting where the bonding agent has failed causing need for glue pipe from furnace draft motor to said failed fitting to be replaced. Second leak is coming from a failed clamp that secures secondary heat exchanger draining piping to collection system that removes water from system. System is heavily dirty with lint and other debris inside that needs to be cleaned and serviced. Blower motor is also dirty and requires cleaning. Recommendation is to make these repairs before the furnace can be deemed safe to operate and also due to age and current condition coupled with pricing of repairs replacement of furnace only may be the best option for the client. Power switch to furnace is turned off and gas supply valve to furnace is turned off. Spoke to Warrenty claim company they will contact Mr. Wong.
